Throwaway Art

Arte a perdere, Throwaway Art, piazza Mazzini, Livorno“Arte a perdere” (Throwaway Art) is a display of contemporary art organized in “Piazza Mazzini” and in the former “Parterre”, now Sandro Pertini Park.Arte a perdere, Throwaway Art, piazza Mazzini, LivornoGiuseppe Mazzini had his monument almost cloned, and he is not amused. Is someone implying that he was an airhead?Arte a perdere, Throwaway Art, Parterre, LivornoThis one, at the “Parterre”, was the only work I really like.Arte a perdere, Throwaway Art, Parterre, LivornoThrowaway art may seem an oxymoron, but here, in many cases, the term is probably self-explanatory.

Neat set of pictures,I like this idea about a open air exposition! It's modern and you can see the artwork in many angles, with different shadows!

Like your other readers, I actually like them. They're colorful and a lot of fun!

Looks like they're made of old cartons. Probably why they're called throwaway art?

Lol at the airhead!
Though I agree this isn't real art (but some would argue that it is), I think it's fun, precisely because it's temporary.

That third photo reminds me a lot of an art object I found in the water at my favorite beach

Actually, this is better than some so-called art that should be thrown away.

Not to be rude, but I had to laugh at the last photo!

That is a BIG brush on the easel. You could make a lot of throwaway art with that.

I like several of them. I can see that others really should be tossed. But the same is true in indoor museums and galleries. Art is so strange.

The top shot is just great!
It would never cross my mind cloning a monument and I find this idea so very funny! :-)
