Sunday Market

Sorry for two walks in a row, but yesterday my trip was very short because I visited the monthly Sunday market in “Piazza Cavour”.There is not much of original here, you can see this stuff almost everywhere, but I always like the many different photo ops.I caught a bunch of the most serious dogs I have ever met, a sad-eyed owl and this little guy in top hat, trapped in a sea of brass.

Yep, the guy in the top hat needs to consider repositioning himself a bit. I like the first shot but I can't figure out what the bottom painting is all about. Any idea?

I love the last one. It's just beautiful if you ask me. A bunch of just stuff. Excellent :)

You've chosen some interesting vignettes to photograph. I like the composition and content. Well done!

I agree with Thom. Your sea of brass is really a beautiful image.

A delightful walk, VP! Did you buy any of these colorful goodies?

he-he. Love the caption. Did you resist those puppy eyes looking at you and asking you to take them home. I like the brass jumble...I'd spend a good long time searching thru that. Aw, and the owl, aw.

Great macros!
I agree with Thom on the last one. :)

The paintings are so vibrant and full of life. They would make a great collection in any room.
The fancy bottles I like also.
Cheers.

I never can help visiting such places. There's always something to find. I love owl, is cool, and my favourite is the last one!
Have a great week:)

You did a good job again, I feel like being there. I like the picture with the dogs, they are so typical for these modern day markets.

Belle le tue foto. Meno male che parlano anche italiano, così le capisco.

I must say, I really love those African scenes! And the sea of brass (if only they needed less cleaning).

Oh, and thank you for correcting my translation! I thought it just referred to the church — I like it that the dedication also included 'ourselves.'

Great results from those walks.

Yes, all this crap makes for better photos than the crap deserves. Wonderful photos - people actually buy this stuff?

@ Per - I've no idea...
@ Jacob - Never! I thought for a while to save the little man, though...
@ Wolynski - Actually, not much!

@ rom, Alberto - Grazie, è un po' che panso a una versione italiana (vero Michela?) ma per ora non c'è molto interesse in giro...

Funny, we have the exact same paintings. I really don't understand why you didn't buy anything.;-) It is all so tasteful...

I try very hard to keep little stuff designed to store dust out of my house, but I really enjoy staring at it at the market. You captured great details - I like the bold hot colors of the paintings.
